Diablo 4 Update Closes Exploits and Fixes Quest Bugs in Lord of Hatred Expansion
-

Blizzard has released Hotfix 4 for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, targeting several early exploits and progression bugs affecting the new expansion.
One of the biggest changes is the removal of the post-run exit portal in Pit and Tower activities. Originally added for convenience, it caused players to accidentally leave before collecting loot or upgrading Glyphs—prompting Blizzard to scrap it entirely.
The hotfix also addresses gameplay issues that were quickly discovered after launch, including:A farming exploit involving Nemesis boss lairs and difficulty swapping
A progression block in the quest The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit when multiple players interacted with chains simultaneously
General stability and performance improvements
While Lord of Hatred is still fresh, Blizzard’s fast response suggests an active effort to stabilize the expansion while keeping its new systems intact.
With major content additions like new classes and endgame systems already live, the focus now shifts to refining the experience and responding quickly to player feedback. -
Hotfix 4 in the first week means hotfixes one through three also happened this week and Lord of Hatred launched less than seven days ago, well received is doing some heavy lifting as a description.
