Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Full Map Revealed Including Three New Islands From Original DLC
-

The complete world map for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has been revealed through marketing materials shared by a fan account, confirming the Caribbean layout remains faithful to the original game while adding new content. The manuscript-style map preserves all major hubs and ports from the 2013 original including Havana, Nassau, and Kingston, alongside the 50 islands that made up Edward Kenway's open-world playground. However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted three additions not present in the base game: Sacrifice Island, Black Island, and Mystery Island, located in the corners of the map. These three locations were originally part of the "Illustrious Pirates Pack" DLC, suggesting that additional cosmetic content from that pack, potentially including the Captain Morgan outfit, may be included in the remake.
The one notable omission is Freedom Cry, the standalone expansion that focused on Adéwalé, which has been confirmed as not part of Resynced. Details about which other original DLC packs are included remain undisclosed. The full map reveal follows Ubisoft's official worldwide showcase on April 23, where Black Flag Resynced was confirmed to be built from the ground up on the latest version of the Anvil Engine, featuring dynamic weather, ray-traced global illumination, reworked combat and stealth systems, a fully seamless open world, and new missions added to Edward's story. The remake is being led by Ubisoft Singapore and is targeting a July 9 release date.
