Dungeons & Dragons Launches High-Production Actual Play Series
-

Dungeons & Dragons is stepping deeper into the world of actual play content with its new official series, Dungeon Masters. Produced by Wizards of the Coast, the show promises a cinematic experience with custom sets, original music by David Arkenstone, and access to both current and unreleased D&D content—something that sets it apart from previous official attempts.
The first campaign, “Ashes of the Black Rose,” takes players into the gothic horror setting of Ravenloft, where a group of adventurers must escape a deadly Domain of Dread. Episodes begin airing April 22, with additional “Play-Along Packs” released after each session, allowing fans to recreate encounters at their own tables. It’s a clear move by D&D to blend entertainment with gameplay in a more interactive format.
