Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is now available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, giving players a chance to revisit one of the most unique RPGs from the GameCube era. The game still delivers its full story experience, including Shadow Pokémon mechanics and its classic Orre region setting, making it a nostalgic return for longtime fans.

However, the release has sparked frustration due to missing features. There’s no Pokémon Home compatibility or connectivity with other Pokémon titles, which removes a major part of what made the original version special.
