World of Warcraft Reveals Midnight Patch 12.0.5 With New Activities and Systems
-

World of Warcraft has officially revealed the upcoming Midnight Patch 12.0.5, giving players a first look at several new activities and progression systems arriving after the expansion’s launch. The update will introduce Void Assaults, Ritual Sites, the Voidforge progression system, Abyss Anglers, and a PvP minigame called Decor Duels, expanding both endgame content and casual gameplay options.
Void Assaults will rotate weekly between Eversong Woods and Zul’Aman, where players must push back attacks from the forces of Xal’atath. Meanwhile, Ritual Sites offer scalable instances for solo players or small groups, rewarding a new currency called Field Accolades that can be used to obtain high-tier gear. These additions aim to expand the endgame loop with more repeatable activities and cooperative challenges.
