Pokémon GO Announces Pokopia Celebration Event With Rare Encounters

Before Max Battle Day arrives, Niantic is launching the Pokopia Celebration event in Pokémon GO starting March 10. The event highlights Ditto, including special costumed versions that can disguise themselves as several Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild.

During the event, players will encounter increased spawns of Pokémon such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu, while three-star raids will feature Lapras, Snorlax, and Dragonite. Additional bonuses like extra XP for spinning PokéStops will remain active until the event ends on March 16.
