Qivalis Eyes Global Reach With Regulated Euro Alternative
-

Under the leadership of CEO Jan Sell, the consortium is exploring partnerships with both European and international crypto platforms. Sell, a former Germany head at Coinbase, said the project aims to provide a “regulated, domestic alternative to US dollar-denominated stablecoins,” supporting real-time cross-border business payments and global trade flows.
Qivalis is prioritizing partners compliant with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) framework. Spanish exchange Bit2Me, which holds a MiCA license, is reportedly among the platforms that have held early discussions with member banks, signaling the consortium’s commitment to regulatory alignment from day one.
