Meeting transcription startup Read AI has unveiled Ada, an AI-powered email assistant designed to act as a “digital twin” for users — handling scheduling, answering company knowledge questions, and even drafting replies.
Users can activate Ada simply by emailing [email protected]
with “Get me started.” Once connected, Ada can coordinate meeting times directly in email threads, automatically offering availability and adjusting if recipients propose alternatives — all without exposing sensitive calendar details.Beyond scheduling, Ada taps into a company’s knowledge base, prior meeting discussions, and public web data to answer contextual questions like Q1 goal updates. If someone asks a question in a thread, Ada drafts a suggested response and lets the user refine it before sending. According to Read AI, the assistant won’t disclose sensitive information without explicit approval.
