Is Meta Partnering With Prada for Luxury AI Glasses?
-

Speculation is swirling that Meta Platforms could be preparing to launch a Prada-branded version of its AI smart glasses. The buzz intensified after Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan were spotted front row at Prada’s Fall/Winter 2026 show in Milan, seated next to Lorenzo Bertelli, son of designer Miuccia Prada. While no official announcement has been made, previous reporting suggested Prada AI glasses were already in development.
Meta’s smart eyewear push has been powered by its partnership with EssilorLuxottica, the parent company of Ray-Ban and Oakley. After selling more than 7 million AI glasses in 2025, Meta appears eager to expand beyond sporty and casual designs into the luxury market. With Prada and EssilorLuxottica recently renewing their long-term eyewear licensing deal, a high-fashion Meta AI collaboration could give the tech giant a stylish new foothold.
