ZachXBT Alleges Insider Trading at Axiom, Polymarket Bettors Cash In

Crypto investigator ZachXBT has accused an employee of trading platform Axiom of insider trading, sending shockwaves across the industry. In a post to his nearly one million followers on X, ZachXBT alleged that employee Broox Bauer used internal tools to access sensitive user wallet data and trade on that information dating back to early 2025. He also shared audio clips that he claims support the findings.

Axiom responded by saying it was “shocked and disappointed,” adding that it had removed access to the tools in question and would continue investigating. The case quickly spilled into prediction markets, where users on Polymarket had wagered nearly $40 million on which company would be exposed. Some traders reportedly walked away with significant profits following the public reveal.
