Gushwork Raises $9M to Help Businesses Win in AI Search

India-founded startup Gushwork has raised $9 million in a seed round led by Susquehanna International Group and Lightspeed, with backing from B Capital, Seaborne Capital, Beenext, Sparrow Capital, and 2.2 Capital. The round values the two-year-old company at $33 million post-money, a sharp jump from its $7.5 million valuation after a $2.1 million pre-seed in 2023. Total funding now stands at $11 million.

Gushwork is betting that AI-powered search tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity are reshaping how customers discover businesses online. As AI platforms increasingly challenge traditional search engines, the startup is building automated marketing agents designed to help companies surface directly inside AI-generated answers — a shift founders believe will redefine digital visibility.
