Ubisoft Confirms Two New Far Cry Games and Multiple Assassin’s Creed Titles in Development
-

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has confirmed that the studio is actively developing two new entries in the Far Cry franchise, alongside several new titles in the Assassin's Creed universe. According to Guillemot, the upcoming Assassin’s Creed projects will span both single-player and multiplayer experiences, signaling an expansion of the series’ formula despite recent internal restructuring and project cancellations.
The new titles are being developed under Vantage Studios, a Ubisoft subsidiary created to focus on the company’s flagship franchises, including Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and Rainbow Six. While specific release dates remain unannounced, the confirmation reassures fans after a turbulent period marked by layoffs and canceled projects. With Assassin’s Creed Shadows launching in 2025 and rumors swirling around future entries, Ubisoft appears to be doubling down on its biggest brands as it reshapes its long-term strategy.
