Hong Kong Licenses Victory Fintech for Crypto Trading

Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has added Victory Fintech Company Limited to its list of licensed cryptocurrency trading platforms, marking the first approval since June 2025. Victory now joins 11 other licensed crypto and blockchain entities under the SFC’s oversight.

The move comes as Hong Kong strictly pursues unlicensed virtual asset trading, which has been a criminal offense since June 2024. Platforms like OKX and Bybit previously withdrew licensing applications, highlighting the regulator’s tough stance.
