Kraken Supports Trump Accounts in Wyoming

Crypto exchange Kraken has announced it will fund Trump Accounts — a new US savings plan for children under 18 — for newborns in Wyoming, following a call from President Donald Trump. The initiative was highlighted by Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis, who praised Kraken for investing in the state’s next generation.

Kraken co-CEO Dave Ripley cited Wyoming’s favorable crypto regulations and the firm’s local HQ as reasons for supporting the program. Trump Accounts are seeded with $1,000 by the federal government for children born between 2025 and 2028, and Kraken becomes the latest financial institution to participate alongside traditional banks like JPMorgan and Wells Fargo.
