CZ Says Privacy Is the Missing Link for Crypto Payments
-

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), co-founder of Binance, believes the lack of onchain privacy is one of the biggest obstacles to mass crypto adoption for payments.
CZ pointed out that if a company pays employees in crypto today, anyone can trace the wallet address and potentially see exactly how much each employee earns. That level of transparency may align with blockchain’s open ethos — but it creates serious concerns for businesses.
According to CZ, until companies can transact privately without exposing sensitive financial data, crypto payments are unlikely to see widespread corporate adoption.
