Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 Now on Steam

Capcom’s dinosaur survival horror classics, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, are now available to play on PC via Steam. The releases are not simple emulations — co-developed with GOG, the games include improvements for modern systems, including Windows 10 and 11 support, 4K rendering, anti-aliasing, better alpha transparency, and controller compatibility. Both titles also fix past issues with save corruption, animations, and music, making them fully optimized for today’s gaming PCs.

Dino Crisis 2 also introduces enhanced modes such as Easy difficulty, Dino Colosseum, and Dino Duel, along with improved music playback, item rendering, and fog effects. For gamers looking to revisit the classics, both games are on sale on Steam for $4.99 each (50% off) until February 26. While these updates satisfy nostalgic fans, many are still hoping Capcom will announce a remake or a true sequel, as the franchise has largely been dormant compared to Resident Evil.
