Arkham Exchange Isn’t Shutting Down — It’s Going Fully Decentralized

Despite recent reports suggesting otherwise, Arkham Exchange is not closing its doors. Instead, the platform is transitioning from a centralized exchange (CEX) model to a fully decentralized exchange (DEX), according to CEO Miguel Morel.

“The future of crypto trading is decentralized,” Morel said, emphasizing that the shift reflects growing demand for self-custody, faster execution, and lower costs. Launched in 2024 by Arkham Intelligence, the platform currently supports spot and perpetual trading. The move aligns with a broader industry trend as decentralized exchanges continue gaining market share over centralized incumbents.
