The TON Foundation has launched TON Pay, a new payments SDK designed to bring everyday crypto payments directly into Telegram.

The idea is simple: let merchants and Mini App developers accept crypto without forcing users through clunky wallets, gas fees, or multi-step checkouts. TON Pay works across wallets and supports tokens like Toncoin and USDT, with sub-second transactions and fees under a cent.

With over 1.1 billion monthly users, Telegram isn’t pitching crypto as a niche tool — it’s positioning it as infrastructure. If paying with crypto feels as easy as sending a message, the adoption curve changes fast.
