Missing Arizona Woman Case Escalates Into Suspected Kidnapping
-

An 84-year-old Arizona woman, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared overnight from her home near Tucson, prompting a major criminal investigation.
Authorities say blood spatter was found at her doorstep and confirmed through forensic testing to be hers, shifting the case from a missing-person report to a suspected kidnapping. Her phone, wallet, car, and medication were left behind, and her doorbell camera was reportedly removed or disabled.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department, with assistance from the FBI, is leading the investigation. No suspects have been named, and there has been no confirmed proof of life.
