Reddit’s AI strategy is starting to show real traction.

Weekly users of its AI-powered Reddit Answers jumped from 1 million to 15 million in 2025, while the company pilots richer, media-heavy responses and dynamic AI agents inside search. Reddit is also planning to remove the distinction between logged-in and logged-out users by 2026, using AI-driven personalization to make the site relevant to anyone who shows up.

At the same time, Reddit’s AI data licensing business is quietly growing, with non-ad revenue hitting $140 million in 2025 — up 22% year-over-year.

Reddit isn’t just a social site anymore. It wants to be where people go for answers.
