Google’s AI Chatbot Gemini Surpasses 750 Million Monthly Users
-

Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has exceeded 750 million monthly active users (MAUs), according to Alphabet’s fourth-quarter 2025 earnings report, reflecting rapid consumer adoption. The figure marks a significant jump from 650 million MAUs in the previous quarter, highlighting Gemini’s growing presence in the AI landscape.
The milestone comes shortly after the launch of Gemini 3, the company’s most advanced model yet, offering deeper, more nuanced responses. CEO Sundar Pichai credited Gemini 3 as a “positive driver” of growth, while Google’s new AI Plus subscription plan, priced at $7.99 per month, is expected to further expand adoption.
Gemini now trails only ChatGPT, estimated at around 810 million MAUs, and continues to benefit from Alphabet’s broader AI investments, including its new Ironwood TPU AI accelerator chip.
