ServiceNow taps Anthropic’s Claude as its preferred enterprise AI model

ServiceNow announced a multi-year partnership with AI research firm Anthropic, expanding the use of Anthropic’s Claude models across its enterprise workflow platform. While the company did not disclose the deal’s financial terms or duration, the agreement makes Claude the preferred AI model powering ServiceNow’s AI-driven products.
Claude will now serve as the default model behind ServiceNow Build Agent, the company’s AI agent builder that allows developers to create automated, agentic workflows. Anthropic’s models will also be rolled out internally to ServiceNow’s roughly 29,000 employees, including Claude Code for engineering teams.
ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott said the partnership aims to turn “intelligence into action” through AI-native enterprise workflows.
