Schiff Slams US Inflation Data, Deficit Spending, and Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’

During the same interview, Peter Schiff expanded his critique beyond crypto, arguing that Americans are “being lied to” about inflation. He claimed the government altered CPI calculations to shift blame onto businesses, rather than acknowledging inflation driven by government spending.
Schiff also criticized President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, calling it “the worst thing we’ve done under Trump.” According to Schiff, the legislation not only preserved deficit spending from the Biden era but worsened it by increasing government spending while cutting taxes.
