Todoist Launches ‘Ramble,’ an AI Feature That Turns Speech Into Tasks

Doist, the company behind the popular to-do list app Todoist, has launched a new AI-powered feature called Todoist Ramble, allowing users to create tasks simply by speaking.

Ramble lets users describe their to-dos in natural, unstructured language. As users talk, the app organizes the input into tasks, automatically capturing details like deadlines, priorities, durations, and assignees. Users can also make edits in real time by saying things like “actually, make that Thursday” or “that’s all.”

The feature is designed for people on the go who find typing reminders inconvenient. By tapping the Ramble icon, users can speak freely while Todoist updates tasks live on screen.

Ramble is available starting today across iOS, Android, desktop, and web, with support for 38 languages.
