SG-Forge said the collaboration validated several core market functions, including issuance, delivery-versus-payment settlement, coupon payments, and redemption—all executed with onchain assets. The trial relied on SG-Forge’s open-source Compliance Architecture for Security Tokens (CAST), which integrates both security tokens and its euro stablecoin into compliant workflows.
Notably, SG-Forge described EUR CoinVertible as the first onchain settlement asset compatible with both Europe’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework and SWIFT’s interoperability tools. First launched on Ethereum in 2023, the stablecoin is positioned as a regulatory-ready bridge between blockchain finance and institutional operations.
