The layer-1 Sui blockchain is back online and fully operational after a consensus-related outage halted transactions for nearly six hours. The Sui Foundation confirmed that transactions are once again processing normally, advising users to refresh their apps or browsers if issues persist.

The disruption began Wednesday afternoon and temporarily restricted more than $1 billion in on-chain value. While the foundation confirmed when the investigation started and when the network was restored, it has not yet disclosed the root cause of the consensus failure, leaving the community awaiting a deeper technical explanation.
