Nvidia and AMD Set the Tone for the AI Era

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang used his CES stage time to unveil the company’s next-generation Rubin computing architecture, designed to meet surging AI compute demands and gradually replace Blackwell later this year. Nvidia also showcased its Alpamayo open-source AI models for autonomous vehicles, reinforcing its push to become the foundational platform for robotics and physical-world AI.
Earlier, AMD CEO Lisa Su delivered the show’s first keynote, spotlighting new Ryzen AI 400 Series processors and partnerships with leaders like OpenAI and Fei-Fei Li. AMD’s message was clear: AI isn’t just for data centers — it’s moving directly into personal computers at scale.
