Mojang has revealed the first game drop coming to Minecraft in 2026, and it’s all about making the Overworld cuter. The upcoming update introduces eight redesigned baby farm mobs, giving players new versions of familiar animals like wolf pups, kittens, piglets, calves, lambs, and more.

Unlike the current baby mobs—which are mostly scaled-down adults—the new designs feature unique textures and models. Game director Agnes Larsson explained that each baby mob now has its own identity, with subtle details like one-pixel eyes and custom animations making them feel more alive.
