Former CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz Joins SUI Group Board

Brian Quintenz, once nominated by US President Donald Trump to chair the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, has joined the board of directors at SUI Group. The company said the move strengthens its regulatory and policy leadership as it advances a digital asset treasury strategy centered on Sui.

SUI Group reported holding more than 107 million SUI tokens worth roughly $200 million as of Q3 2025. Quintenz previously served at the CFTC from 2017 to 2021 and later became global head of policy at Andreessen Horowitz’s crypto arm, making him a prominent bridge between regulators and the crypto industry.
