Bubblemaps Pushes Back on Claims Linking Polymarket Wallet to WLFI Co-Founder
-

Blockchain analytics firm Bubblemaps has rejected speculation that a Polymarket account involved in bets on Nicolás Maduro is connected to a co-founder of World Liberty Financial. The controversy emerged after unusual trading activity was flagged on Polymarket, where several wallets placed profitable bets ahead of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement regarding Maduro.
Bubblemaps argued that the logic used to link the wallets to a specific individual was weak and overly speculative. The firm emphasized that matching transaction timing and amounts—particularly involving transfers through Coinbase—is insufficient evidence, noting that thousands of wallets could exhibit similar patterns without implying insider access or personal identity.
