Ethereum Continues to Dominate Stablecoins and Real-World Assets
-

Despite competition from other chains, Ethereum remains the leading settlement layer for both stablecoins and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. It currently accounts for about 65% of all on-chain RWA value—roughly $19 billion—and more than 70% when layer-2 and EVM-compatible networks are included.
Ethereum also holds a 57% share of total stablecoin issuance, well ahead of rivals, with Tether’s USDT leading the market at $187 billion outstanding. More than half of that supply lives on Ethereum, reinforcing its role as the primary financial rail for tokenized dollars and real-world assets alike.
