According to a new report by Malt in collaboration with IPSE, professionals aged 50+ are not slowing down. Instead, they are actively shaping strategy, leading teams, and delivering immediate impact across organisations.
Far from being disengaged or outdated, 42% of senior freelancers say most of their work involves leadership, consulting, or strategic planning. These findings challenge long-standing assumptions about age and adaptability — and point to a talent pool that businesses increasingly rely on when clarity and experience matter most.
