Institutional adoption of Ethereum could accelerate sharply next year, according to Sharplink co-CEO Joseph Chalom, who expects sovereign wealth fund exposure to Ethereum and tokenized assets to grow five- to tenfold.

Chalom argues that competitive pressure among large allocators will play a key role. As more institutions enter the space, staying sidelined may become harder to justify. He also expects onchain AI agents and prediction markets to go mainstream, further increasing Ethereum network activity.

Despite cautious price outlooks from some analysts, growing institutional participation and new onchain use cases could make Ethereum’s ecosystem far more valuable by 2026.
