Cold Snap Continues, But Embark Slows ARC Raiders’ Loot Rush

The Cold Snap update brought freezing conditions, new events, and fresh rewards to ARC Raiders — but it also unleashed an unintended flood of Blueprints. Embark Studios has now dialed things back with update 1.7.2, ending what many players saw as a short-lived loot frenzy.

While Blueprint drops have been “slightly lowered,” Embark confirmed they remain more generous than pre-Cold Snap levels. The studio also confirmed this could be the final update of the year, as the team shifts to a Tuesday update schedule and prepares for a holiday break.
