Borderlands 4 Activates Triple Bosses While Devs Take Holiday Break

Alongside its boosted loot event, Borderlands 4 now has three Big Encore Bosses active at the same time, giving players more endgame options through the holidays. The change runs until January 8, after which weekly boss rotations and activities will resume as normal.

Gearbox confirmed the extended setup allows the team to take a holiday break while keeping the game active. The update also fixes an exploit tied to Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode rewards. With larger story content and a new Vault Hunter planned for 2026, this event offers a solid reason for players to return before the next major drop.
