Alexa+ Makes Doorbells Smarter With Greetings Feature

Amazon’s new Greetings feature for Ring doorbells helps users automate interactions at their doorstep. Alexa can detect delivery workers, sales reps, or friends, responding appropriately based on your preferences.

For example, it can ask delivery personnel when they’ll return for a signature, redirect them to a safe package spot, or politely decline unwanted sales visits. Friends and family can also leave messages if you’re away. Available via the Ring Premium Plan, this feature is currently rolling out to Alexa+ Early Access customers in North America.
