APAC’s Wealth Elite Backs Crypto as Regulations Mature
-

Asian HNWIs are increasingly leaning into crypto as regulated wealth products, not risky side bets. Nearly half of surveyed portfolios now hold more than 10% crypto, and 80% of active investors own Bitcoin, Ether or Solana — with diversification listed as the top motivator.
Sygnum’s report also highlighted confidence in APAC’s regulatory landscape. Singapore’s MAS and Hong Kong’s new frameworks are seen as “specific, deliberate and institution-building,” giving investors clearer standards for custody, operations and protection. With 87% saying they would request crypto services from private banks, institutional involvement in Asia’s digital asset sector appears set to accelerate. -
Interesting to see APAC’s wealthy class turning more confident as regulations improve. This could push long-term stability in the crypto sector.

Clear regulations always attract serious capital. APAC’s growing interest might be a major catalyst for the next crypto cycle.
