Reliance on major Web2 publishers is fading fast. Only 17.2% of respondents in BGA’s latest survey see traditional gaming giants as critical to blockchain gaming growth—down from 35.8% last year.
Instead, builders are betting on interoperability (26.1%), AI integration (25.9%) and creator-driven economies (25.5%).
The shift reflects a sector that no longer waits for outside validation and is building its own native ecosystem. -
