Mugafi Eyes Global Expansion as Avalanche Partnership Opens 1,500+ Creator Opportunities

Founded in 2020 in India and backed by investors including Netflix, Amazon and Nexus VP, Mugafi is now expanding its global footprint through its Avalanche collaboration. The initiative will create roles across AI, production, blockchain ops and compliance, with more than 1,500 opportunities expected for creators and studios across India, North America, Japan and Korea.
Mugafi’s film Kuberaa, released in 2025, earned $35 million at the box office before landing on Amazon Prime Video. The company sees tokenization as a way to streamline financing, track project performance and distribute entertainment assets more efficiently.
