Bank of America is officially recommending a 1%–4% crypto allocation for wealth-management clients, signaling a major shift in institutional appetite for digital assets.
Starting Jan. 5, clients will gain access to four Bitcoin ETFs (BITB, FBTC, BTC, IBIT) across Merrill and BofA Private Bank platforms.
For years, advisers couldn’t recommend crypto at all — this marks a major reversal. -
More banks onboarding BTC ETFs means stronger US market adoption.
