Uzbekistan Launching Stablecoin Sandbox by 2026

Uzbekistan has approved a new regulatory framework that will bring stablecoins into its formal payment system starting Jan. 1, 2026.
The plan includes a tightly controlled regulatory sandbox overseen by the National Agency for Perspective Projects and the central bank.
Local companies will also be allowed to issue tokenized shares and bonds, with new trading platforms planned for licensed exchanges.
