Companies Respond to Claims as Investigation Expands

Several companies named by Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters have issued statements — CrowdStrike says it was not affected and has fired a “suspicious insider,” while Docusign reports no evidence of compromise but has disabled all Gainsight integrations. Malwarebytes and Thomson Reuters say they are still investigating. Verizon called the hackers’ claims “unsubstantiated.” Google’s Mandiant unit is assisting Gainsight with the forensic review.
