Nearly three years after FTX’s failure, most executives have been sentenced: Ryan Salame is serving 7.5 years, Caroline Ellison is serving two, and Nishad Singh and Gary Wang received time served.
Sam Bankman-Fried, however, remains in prison on a 25-year sentence and is now appealing his conviction, arguing he was “never presumed innocent.” Crypto circles are also buzzing with speculation that he may seek a presidential pardon, following Donald Trump’s recent pardon of Binance founder Changpeng Zhao. -
