Platypus Entertainment explained that an old helicopter model and several guitar song covers triggered the DMCA dispute — none of which ever appeared in-game.
Following discussions, these elements were removed at GSC’s request.
Since its Oct. 23, 2025 release, Misery has maintained a “Very Positive” Steam rating with over 6,600 reviews.
