Security Alert: Blockchain security firm Socket has uncovered a malicious Chrome extension called “Safery: Ethereum Wallet.”
Despite claiming to be a “secure Ethereum wallet,” it contains a hidden backdoor that steals users’ seed phrases by encoding them into Sui addresses and sending microtransactions to a hacker-controlled wallet.

Shockingly, it ranks 4th when searching “Ethereum Wallet” on the Chrome Web Store.
