North Korea’s infamous Lazarus Group and its subunit BlueNoroff APT are refining their crypto scams with more sophisticated social engineering.
Kaspersky reports two new coordinated operations — GhostCall and GhostHire — that target Web3 executives and blockchain developers with fake investment meetings and job interviews.
Unlike older malware campaigns, these now involve AI-enhanced impersonations, recycled real video calls, and fake conferencing apps, making detection far harder.
