The U.S. and China have reached a final agreement on TikTok, according to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
Speaking on Face the Nation, Bessent said the deal will be formally signed Thursday in Korea, following months of negotiations.
Under the deal, Oracle will oversee TikTok’s U.S. security operations, with Fox Corp, Andreessen Horowitz, and Silver Lake joining as investors.
The move could finally end the years-long standoff over ByteDance’s ownership.
