Product designer Laurent Del Rey, now at Meta’s Superintelligence Lab, has launched Endless Summer, an iPhone app that creates AI-generated vacation photos starring users in destinations worldwide.

The app aims to provide a “soft life” escape for users facing burnout, letting them appear on beaches, city balconies, or social events — all without leaving home. Behind the scenes, Gemini’s Nano-Banana image model generates the custom imagery.

Users can generate a limited number of free images, with paid options starting at $3.99 for 30 photos. Optional features include auto-delivery of photos and customization of gender or themes. A recent update also allows Halloween-themed AI images.
