Diablo IV Season 11 PTR Brings Itemization & Monster Combat Overhaul

Diablo IV players can test major system updates on the 2.5.0 Public Test Realm (PTR) from Oct. 21–28, 2025, including:

Tempering & Masterwork – Choose affixes when tempering; Masterworking now improves item Quality rather than affix values, with Capstone bonuses for maxed items.

Sanctification – Infuse items with Angelic power, potentially granting bonus Legendary powers or Greater Affixes.

Monster Combat – Smarter AI, more powerful affixes, fewer groupings, champion packs, and 20+ new elite affixes.

These updates aim to make combat more strategic and reward thoughtful item upgrades.
