Despite being down 0.6% month-to-date, Bitcoin has historically seen most of its October gains in the second half of the month.
In 2024, BTC gained 16% after Oct. 15.
In 2023, it surged 29% in the same period.
In 2020, it climbed 18%.
This history earned October the nickname “Uptober.”
Melker also pointed to gold’s all-time high rally last week as a bullish signal for Bitcoin:
“Investors aren’t panicking, they’re reallocating. And if gold can rally that hard, imagine what happens when capital starts rotating back into Bitcoin.”
